Synopsis: Asef is a young refugee from Afghanistan who crossed to Greece in early 2016 and since then has tried several times to find his way to western Europe. The film is the amalgamation of his 8 month video diary and corresponding the adventures, challenges and his everyday life at the camps, as well as his memories and dreams of a better life. He takes the viewer to a surreal tour of the spaces he rests, hides and visits.
Audio-Visual Anthropologist-Filmmaker. Born in 1972 in Tehran.
He is engaged with Audio-Visual, sensorial, and performative modes of presentation in Anthropological studies and human life, most notably, transcultural condition.
Produced several feature length and short films-videos that have been presented in different international and local festivals and venues as well as collaboration in different performative and collective art projects.
Asif Rezaei Născut în Afganistan (Jaghouri) în 1992.
Born in Afghanistan (Jaghouri) in 1992. Studied Accounting in Kabul. Left the country to Europe as asylum seeker in 2015. Living in different refugee camps in Greece for one year and meeting Arjang Omrani and collaborating in making the film PASSAGER. At the moment on hold in France for his asylum case
