“At first, Nora Agapi intended to make a portrait-movie on her father, using his archive, as a tribute essay brought out by this story. But the radical decision of the authorities of Iasi to remove him from the house and move him in unspeakable living conditions, with his considerable film archive, forced me to see reality differently, and the movie takes an unexpected turn.”
Director’s bio:
Nora Agapi is a director of photography and a documentary film director. He co-directed the movie “Low Cost” and was director of photography for “Leaving Transylvania”, “Forest of Crocodiles”, “Pe Cărări Nebătute”/”Off The Bitten Track”, “Decoding Dacia”, “The Hunt for Transylvanian Gold”, “A Young Mind: the Making of a Filmmaker”.
