“Here is the toboggan…here is the prison for small children…a cat…a bunny…two stars in the sky.”
A lost childhood. Two boys explore the dilapidated entrails of a deserted factory, looking for bits of scrap metal for money. Through a patient camera, the film follows the behavior of the boys in their struggle for survival. Where does the playing end and the work begin?
Director’s bio:
Raluca Racean Gorgos is a Romanian film director. She graduated the National University of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in Bucharest. After Graduation she deepen her knowledge on film directing and producing by participating in Hollywood Film Institute Program, Transilvania Talent Lab and Aristoteles Workshop. During the Aristoteles Workshop, she made her documentary film “The Bed is Broken”, that was selected in numerous festivals like: IDFA Amsterdam, Jihlava International Film Festival in Check Republic, One World Romania, Kerala International Film Festival in India, Cronograf International Documentary Film Festival, Astra film festival and other. She received the AW Best film Award, and was nominated for Silver Eye Award at Jihlava Film Festival. With her newest film “4 1⁄2 Senses“ she won The Pitch by Shorts TV and had it’s premiere at Drama International Short Film Festival, Greece 2016.
